Two terminals are within the Samui Island Airport grounds, with the domestic and international terminals 50 metres away from each other. The open-air terminals offer a laid-back and comfortable ambience to travellers with palm-thatched roofs, coconut palm trees, and lush green gardens.

While at the airport, passengers can completely relax while doing some last-minute shopping for souvenirs at the gift shop, which is the only enclosed facility in the airport. Passengers can also taste local cuisine from a Thai restaurant that has open-air surroundings. A post office is also available on-site, offering its services to passengers who need to send some packages or important mail. Before flying, passengers can benefit from spa treatments and relaxing massages from a spa.

Transportation at the airport is complemented by taxis and mini buses. Tickets and bookings are taken care of by a transport counter at the arrivals area. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
