The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

The city of Pisa has many historical churches and palaces. There are museums containing artifacts and objects of art. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is in the cathedral grounds. Pisa is located in Tuscany, a region of central Italy on the Mediterranean Coast. A convenient method of visiting tourist destinations beyond Pisa is cheap car hire at Pisa Airport Italy (PSA).

Pisa Airport (PSA) is a strategic access point; to Pisa, Florence and the Tuscan coastline; for travellers coming from outside Italy. Most of the airlines serving Pisa Airport are budget airlines. A number of European national carriers also have flights to Pisa. Pisa Airport is very close to the centre of Pisa and is easily accessible by road.

Pisa Airport's passenger terminal has two levels. Luggage carousels and the Arrivals hall are on the lower floor. The car rental terminal, located a short distance from the passenger terminal, has numerous service desks providing car rental. There is a shuttle bus service linking the two terminals.

The passenger building has a pub, several restaurants, some of which serve pizzas, cafés and a large shopping area. The airport stores sell items including designer clothes, Italian footwear and handicrafts made from semi-precious stones. Duty free is in the airside Departures area. The terminal also has a bank, an exchange bureau, cash machines, and airport information.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?
