The Thrifty address is incorrect

The Thrifty address is incorrect on 121carhire site. We had to track it down when we got to Campbelltown. Not near train station so with 2 large suitcases it was a pain... We managed to get a lift but please change it for the sake of others.

This clean and convenient airport is located in the suburb of Harewood, just seven miles from Christchurch city centre. There is a good selection of car hire at Christchurch Airport, making it quick and convenient to get around.

Although a second building is currently under construction, both domestic and international check-in desks are currently located in the same building. The airport features a number of major airlines including Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas and Korean Air. It is a good idea to arrive at the check-in desk between two and three hours before your flight is due to depart to allow plenty of time to complete the process.

Passengers who have arrived at the airport after a long flight can reenergise at one of the terminal building's numerous cafés, which are often praised for their excellent coffee and snacks.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?
